Come and escape to the peaceful and nostalgic surroundings of Cromdale old train station for a quirky and enjoyable stay for all ages. Built in 1863, this historic house has been recently refurbished to a high standard, and sleeps up to 7 in 3 bedrooms (a travel cot can also be provided for an infant). It also has a shower room and an en-suite bathroom.

We aim to provide all essentials for a comfortable stay. including bedding, blankets, towels, toiletries and kitchen essentials. There is a dishwasher and washing machine, microwave, slow cooker, oven, Wifi and TV with Roku (enabling streaming services such as Netflix and Amazon Prime) and DVD player. There is also a barbecue and there are garden toys for use outside. The house is centrally heated and we also provide fuel for our multi-fuel burning stove for cosy evenings in.

The camping coach is a former railway carriage built in 1916 and has two bedrooms, a shower room and a former 'Guard's Van' which is now the living area and has cooking facilities (hob, combi microwave, small portable grill, slow cooker and toaster) but please note no oven.

There is a fridge with freezer compartment, kettle, cafetiere, sink, seats, table, TV with DVD player, electric and gas heaters.

It is also equipped with books, games and a selection of DVDs. There is also a contained garden exclusively for guests' use which includes garden play equipment, rowing machine, picnic table and a table for tray bbqs. We also provide a small bucket bbq and/ or a disposable bbq.

Firhill Cottage is a cosy and quirky three bedroom late 19th century railway sleeper cottage situated next to Deshar Woods in the popular highland village, Boat of Garten near Aviemore.

The cottage can sleep up to six people (including the sofa bed). Apart from the sofa bed in the lounge, there are normally three beds for four people but an extra bed can be made available by splitting the stacker bed into two (in which case is most suitable for children). The rooms are all on ground floor level.

There is a wood burning stove ideal for cosy evenings in, a smart TV with streaming services and a DVD player. The kitchen is well equipped with cooking and cleaning essentials, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and a dining table with four chairs. We provide bedding, towels and basic toiletries. The house also contains many books and leaflets available for your perusal.

The cottage has a private patio space and small front garden. It shares a driveway with Granlea House and you are welcome to use the Granlea gardens which include a children's play area, lawn, table tennis table, bbq area etc.
